What should I order at Fable Fries?
Our specialty is fries with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and homemade Truffle mayonnaise. The Parmigiano Reggiano we use comes directly from the Boselli cheese maker in the Parma region of Italy, where animal welfare plays a crucial role in the traditional production process.
Are there vegetarian or vegan options at Fable Fries?
Yes, Fable Fries has a wide range of vegan sauces and we fry our fries in plant-based oil, separate from our other products.
What kind of potatoes does Fabel Fries use?
We use Agria potatoes from Dutch soil, specifically developed for fries. The season affects the taste of the potatoes. By shielding from light and controlling temperatures, we can maintain a consistent starch content throughout the year, ensuring a superior taste.
What does Fable Fries do to reduce its environmental impact?
We use eco-friendly packaging materials; fry our fries in their skins, reducing waste by 10%; source our energy from a supplier that has been named the greenest energy provider in the Netherlands for 9 years in a row; and recycle our used oil into biodiesel. This way, we contribute to a circular economy. Additionally, we actively work to keep our neighborhood clean, picking up litter daily and emptying full trash cans in collaboration with the local government.
